Oregon RIMS Chapter and Oregon PRIMA are hosting the 2nd annual joint legislative event, December 3 at the Crown Plaza, Lake Oswego,  as a precursor to the 2025 legislative session. Event is from 12:00PM – 2:00PM. Through a panel discussion led by an attorney, Sommer Tolleson, lobbyist, Kirsten Adams, and managed care organization executive, Ann Klein, attendees will learn about the current legislative landscape in Oregon, specifically workers’ comp/employment issues, and conveying the need for active support and advocacy by employer groups. He performed day-to-day development and execution of a risk management program that covered all elements in the identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring of all exposures within the corporate risk universe. Specific experience involved being a corporate risk manager for a service-related conglomerate (15 years) and then a biopharmaceutical manufacturer (10 years) before assuming an ERM governance and disclosure leadership role (10 years, through 2021) for a major worldwide financial entity.
