Spencer Educational Foundation 2020 Internship Program The Spencer Educational Foundation Internship Grant Application is online to apply now for 2020 Summer Internship Program Grants. Through our summer internships, students learn about the field in a real world business setting where they can quickly apply what they know, respond to new experiences, and begin to develop contacts in the industry. The Foundation provides grants of up to $7,500 to provide these experiential learning opportunities. Deadline is Thursday, January 9, 2020. If you have interest, please let someone on the Oregon RIMS Board know and we can put you in touch with a company that has hosted an intern in the past who can speak to the value of the experience. Additional Spencer Information

We will be hosting a virtual meeting Thursday, May 21st 2020 from 4pm-5pm where we will be joined by James MacDonnell, Director, Crisis Management and Business Continuity, BDO, who will review the various aspects of risk in managing supply chains such as complexities, global exposures, the depth of disruptions, and emerging risks, including the current risk environment with COVD-19. Differences in insuring recall versus contamination will be explored as will best practices for handling claims and maximizing recoveries. “Bring” a young professional or Rising Risk Professional.
